Crappiest builder on the face of the Earth

I write this report on the behalf of myself and at least 95 other dissatisfied owners.
DR Horton is the lowest quality builder. Having had new homes before I've worked with new home builders. Most others will rectify problems which shouldn't be numerous anyway.

DR Horton not only uses subs that just want to get in, throw the house together and leave, but they keep you waiting endlessly to correct their cheap work. It is CLEAR that all they care about is throwing cheap track homes together. And when I say cheap, I mean their quality, our home was almost $1 million. What a disgrace to the building industry.

As an aside, not only do they screw their owners, they don't even pay their vendors! I happen to know that one contractor won't even come fix something because "DR Horton hasn't paid us almost $180,000 and we need to service paying customers."

DR Horton will leave you out in the cold, wishing desperatly that you had never purchased a home from them. They are without question the shoddiest, most unprofessional builder ever.
