ACE VISA ripoff ripoff

I like a fool signed up with this ace visa credit card because i had no credit and thought i couldn't get a credit card any other way. They charge like 300 dollars for this credit kit charget to the card plus 50 dollar participation fee. It had a $400 limit. I paid on time at first and got the balance down. I went on a vacation and had to use the card first off isent a $300 dollar payment in the form of a check 3 weeks before i left because i knew i was going to need the card for rental car and hotel reservations. Of course they hadnt updated my account and told me that any payment over $200 had to be verified. Well they had allready cashed the check weeks before but i still had to wait. Needless to say it was a big head ache. I got thru my vacation but when i got home was all tapped out cash wise because i has to pay for everythin with cash.

I got so behind when i came back that i fell behind in my payments, next thing you know thwy were charging over the limit fees and late fees in excess of $75 dollars a month.in comes household bank they bought them or something next thing i know they are charging over $100 dollars a month in fees. So i sent them $75 and called and asked if they could stop the over the limit fees and late fees because all i could pay for the time being was $75 and at this rate i would never get ahead. Oh no they said so i then asked them to close the account, oh no they would not close the account and they would not stop charging the fees. Now they have finally closed the account and stop charging the fees and guess what my balance is $1350. Now my credit is really jacked up, in short i wish i never heard of ace visa or household bank. I am going to try going to counsumer credit counseling and see if they can get them to accept some type of settlement.

I changed my phone number because they were harassing me and guess what now they call my grandmothers house harassing her because she is the only person in my city with my last name. Does any one know how i canmake them stop harassing her. She tells them i am not there i have told her to tell them she doesnt know me but they trick her and tell her that i gave them her phone number which is not true they just called information and the phone company gives out her number i guess because shes the only one listed.
