I, too, had an interview with this so-called co. I rearranged my schedule of appts to accommodate them, even though I was only given a days notice. I entered a front office on time for my interview and found I was skeptical from the onset.

First, the reception office (I use the term loosely) was dirty (window was so bad, it had a film on it... Carpet was scary to walk on, so dirty... A broken down filing cabinet, a boom box playing hip-hop cd's, etc.) Well, you get the picture... Real questionable! This place looked like it was thrown together an hour before I got there!

Upon entering, there were also about 5-6 other candidates waiting to be interviewed. After waiting about 10 minutes, the receptionist (?) made her apologies that her employer was on his way & gave her apologies. He came in and walked into the back office, never offering an apology himself for keeping a roomful of people waiting on him.

All I could think of was that something was really wrong here! My gut was speaking to me... Always listen to your gut!

Okay, after about another 10 min... He finally called the 1st person back into his office. Obviously, a quick interview, she was out in 10 min. Again, all I could think of was that we had all waited this long for a 10 min.interview!??

Figuring I had come this far, I might as well see what this was all about. So I waited. Four other people went before me & finally I was called upon to go back. This, by the way was 1 hr. And 15min. Later than my so-called scheduled appt.

Once back there, again, no apology was extended by this guy for keeping me waiting.in the 10 min. I was given, he asked me maybe 3-4 questions that the answers were simple facts on my hard-copy resume' in front of him (address, etc.) Also I should state now that they had contacted me from my online resume' for this interview.

When I asked what the job entailed, he was very vague in telling me there were only 5 positions avail. And then proceeded to dance around the subject & talked very fast running his words purposely together. Really not answering the question. Never asked if I had any other questions, nothing... Nor what they had to offer me... Benefits, etc.

He basically told me I had qualified for a 2nd interview that would be on Mon. Or Tues. And that it would be all day to observe how the Co. Worked & introduce me to it.

Well... At that I told him I couldn't possibly make an all day interview (By now my gut is screaming... Get out, somethings not right here!)

I also believe it is a law that you should be getting paid for this all day interview, but of course nothing is mentioned of this... Talk about FREE labor. At that he just said if my plans changed to call him... And that was that.

As, I left all I could think of was the couple of hours that this joker wasted of mine, when I could have been looking at legitimate jobs. Also, in conclusion, when I asked for a business card, he just didn't have any left... I asked receptionist to write name, phone, etc... I was told as she wrote this that she didn't know his last name... Nor did she find it out for me.

Business's like this NEED to be reported, and I plan on doing it. It's preying on people that are in need of a job & trying to take advantage of this fact. This so-called Co. & it's employees are guilty of Unethical tactics, unprofessional behavior... And Lies... A SCAM!
