Fraudulant unauthorized charge to credit card ripoff

There is a Joseph Gieoli, who owns a business called NovaPointe LLC located at 2060 E. Francis St. Ontario, CA 91761.

This man is stealing from customers via the Internet.in my case the the first time I will call it stupidity on m part although I still consider it Fraud.

Through a company called Leanlifepm of the same address he advertised a diet product called Fatburn2. They offer a 14 day trial for cost of shipping only. $1.99 In the lenghty offer terms o a different web page in fine tiney winey print you are agreeing to a monthly order commitment. Unethical as all get out.

I immediately canceled future orders, I and realized that I had been scammed out of $1.90 plus $69.95 They did cancel my order as evidenced by the fact that the withdrawals from my credit card ceased. I did end back the order, but never received a refund. I decided to take my lumps and chalk it up as a cruel learning lesson.

Tonight as I reviewed my credit card, to my absolute astonishment, they raided my VISA account with an unauthorized $69.95 charge. The description on the charge is FS-HOODIA BURNFAT. I tried to email them and the web site has been canceled. I tried to call them and the phone just rings and rings.

In my research on line, I found out that several, which will probably be hundreds of people have had this same with-drawl transaction, and all of us on the same day. (08/25/06)

I know that some, such as he Police Department of Ontario, who I just hung up the phone with, think this i a civil matter. I believe that the first scam could be argue-able be civil, but not the blatant 2ND unauthorized pull on my account 6 months later.

Just go search and type in FS-HOODIA BURN FAT, check it out, you will be sent to a site called consumer complaints.com and find that already 15 complaints have been made. I am sure that this is he tip of the iceberg.

Please have the local police, the district attorney's office, the Attorney General invstigate this matter. Even though this is the internet this must be treated the same as an other form of stealing.

We/I are at our mercy, as they are too far away for me to chase. Yes I would like my money back, but the bigger picture is that thieves belong behind bars in prison. They are stealing from hundreds, maybe thousands.

If they stole my checks and forged them, the police or DA would call it criminal. The internet does not change that stealing is staling. If I looked at child porn on the intenet in my own home, the police & DA would call it criminal, come arrest me and take my computer as evidence. Plase don't let the Ontario Police brush me off, just because it's the internet. Actually because it's the internet we need your help all the more. We should not be held helpless anymore.

Remember, I am not talking about a dispute about the product. I did not reorder I did not receive the unordered goods. They simply because of an old transaction, used the information to steal from me and many others. This is a form of Identity theft. Go Get Them.
