Warren International
Ripoff, scam, pyramid scheme, horrible staff

Miscellaneous

To everyone interested in warren international - *beware*

I wish I would've read this before I interviewed and wasted 2 days of my life!

My first interview that I had 2 weeks ago, I should've known that something was wrong with the company. When I first walked in, 4 other people were sitting in the lobby and 1 of the 'potential candidates' was wearing jeans to an interview!

I was greeted by the receptionist that was nice, but clearly seemed stressed by her day. She quickly gave me a fake smile and then ran through 'her script' of things that she had probably said 100 times that day alone! I tried to create conversation, since this was possibly a future-co-worker of mine, but she wanted nothing to do with me. Her computer, myspace and cellphone were more important.

Then after waiting 25 minutes past my interview time, I was greeted by Jen, the 'owner' of the company. She asked me some questions, was very friendly and 'sold' the business model of Warren International to me. After what seemed like 7 minutes (later finding out it was 9) I was told that I would be contacted later that day if I was going to be asked back for a second, more involved, interview. I left feeling that I had no chance of that interview and was SHOCKED when I got a call later that day saying they wanted me back. I couldn't figure out how in 9 minutes she could tell if I was a potential candidate. However, I decided to go back in the VERY next day for a FULL-DAY second round interview.

When I arrived the next day I was in the lobby again - this time with 5 other individuals. The receptionist was busy on the phone and computer again so I created conversation with others in the lobby.

I found out that no one else had any idea of what was going on that day and what Warren International does. One lady started asking the receptionist questions and she told her that she would find that information out today and to please be patient and wait. I couldnt understand why everything was such a big secret until later.

When I finally got 'introduced' to my second round interview person (whose name I will leave out of this, because he seems like a nice guy that has been brainwashed by these people) we left the office building. I was informed we would be driving about an hour away and cold calling businesses all day about office supplies.

We went into businesses all day that had no idea we were coming and wanted nothing to do with us. I think we saw about 50 businesses and my interviewer made one sale, that he continued to tell me he made $75 on. For a whole days work that was all he was compensated! I told the interviewer this job was not for me, but rode around with him all day, as to not ruin his day.

When I returned to the office, I spoke with another manager, Jen was busy talking with someone else, and told them I was not interested in the position.

SO MY WARNING TO YOU:
These following items will be found at Warren International:
- 100% commission
- Have to split commissions with your own trainees
- Encouraged to recruit your friends/family to company
- No paid time off
- No company car
- NO expenses reimbursed at all
- Long work days (7am - 7pm)
- No team work (my interviewer said he was out by himself everyday)
- Fake people (only interested in getting themselves ahead)
- An unreal turnover rate
- A pipe-dream that you will eventually 'own your own business' and Jen (the now owner) will move away and start another business, right.

I wish someone would have told me before I wasted all that time. Hope this helps you before you make the same mistake!

*Just look at all the ads the have on the Internet. They desperately want people all the time.
