Charging bills to my debit card without my knowledge. Ripoff

TWX charged me 49.95 on my debit card for a magazine subscription that I had no knowledge of.

In October I signed up for FREE magazines as a thank you for paying in full my online subscription to a web site. NEVER once was I asked or even hinted to that I may need to pay anything at all.

Nine months later TWX charged 49.95 to my debit card. The charge was just enough to send the account into a negative balance. I called and asked TWX to reverse the charges. The next morning I found they had not done so. They were very unwilling to refund the money that they had absolutely no right to charge. I was never once even asked to approve any charges EVER.

I spent hours on the phone and used up my cell phone minutes trying to reason with them. Not to mention the $26.00 I had to pay for the overdraft charge from this non agreed to charge.

I have asked TWX to send me a written letter agreeing with me that we had a conversation to NEVER charge any money to my account and was told they would send it. I do not believe them as they are a very very dirty and underhanded company.

Nobody should be allowed to rip off consumers like this!

I am outraged that a large company like TWX (Time Warner) can act so irresponsible and not be reprimanded.
