Valley Consolidated Company Dead Beat dad Owes Me Over $70,000. D. A, Has Done Nothing

My ex husband Bruce Drake, of McCall and New Meadows Idaho has gotten away with not paying child support for 10 years. The District Attorney has given me one excuse after another why they cant collect. One being he owns his own business and file's for corperation so his wages cant be garnished. I have proof he is working, (video taped him on his job, more than once), I have proof he has used a few different social security numbers to avoid paying support. He was reprimanded by Unemployment for working and receiving unemployment and for using his girlfreinds Son's Social Security number to collect those funds. Still the DA does nothing.

He was charged with contempt once and paid $300 for 9 months ($300 was half of the support amount for one month) as soon as charges were dropped becaquse he paid for 9 months he quit paying and I have not reiceved anything since. The DA tells me I should just wait till he gets an inheritance from family and garnish it.

A lady at the Da's office has told me before that I should just close my case if I didnt like the service I was recieving. Another lady at the DA's office told me "Well you are the one who choose him to father your kids." I told her "it was her job to collect support isnt that correct."

As a single mother I put a heavy lawn mower in my car day after day and mowed lawns to support my kids. I cleaned offices at night until I had enough jobs in the day time to get me by. For Christmas our first year on our own we had dollar store items under the tree and his girlfriend sent thrift store cloths for adults to my 10 and 12 year old. I think it was to make me believe he couldnt afford anything else, I knew better, he always made a good living, he was smart a go getter a good sales man, good provider as long I was with him. As soon as I left somehow he couldnt make any money and had no income...

I could go on and on about how he has avoided child support but it just makes me sick to my stomach, while I sit her now and help put my daughter through nursing shcool. I want a better life for my kids so I will sacrifice to give them what they need.
