Shoddy Apartment Management style ripoff

My husband and I live in Tulsa, Ok, in an apartment complex managed by McSha. We moved in the first week of March. Since that time, our air conditioning has gone out no fewer than 10 times, as average of 3 days each time.in case you don't live in Oklahoma, summertime temps can, and often do, climb above 95 degrees, with heat indexes up to 115 degrees.
Well, the most recent time the AC failed, we were told by the on site "management" that she was doing all she could and that she had to wait for the corporate office to approve any repairs.

The maintenance lady is not qualified to do her job, she has told us as much. She claims to have been hired as a "make ready" and that she is not qualified to to any actual repair work. Yet, the last time it went out, she was in the room with the AC unit trying to work on it. If she doesn't know how to work on it, she should keep away from it, so not to mess things up even more.

The unit is a cooler/boiler system that was installed in the 1970s and not replaced since. It has problems every year, the other, long time, tenants tell us. The other property that McSha manages in Tulsa, Monticello, got a brand new central heat and air system installed this year the first time theirs went out. But, of course, that property is where the office for both properties is AND where the "maintenance" woman lives.
