Butcher's Choice Meats
Not quality meat - ripoff

The guy was going door to door claiming he was offering amazing deals after the 4th of July. I politely turned him away and went about my business. About a half hour later my husband comes home from work and the same gentleman stops him as he's getting out of his vehicle. My husband listens to him and thinks it sounds great.

I don't care to buy my meats from a guy driving around with a cooler on the back of his truck, but my husband was sold. We got what the salesman called 'a ridiculous deal'. It was ridiculous alright!

Right after the guy left I had a sinking feeling, so I went online to see if I could find anything. I could not believe all of the negative reports and was so mad this company is still out there. I immediately called my bank to stop payment on the check and it had been cashed within 15 minutes of me handing it to the salesman! If that's not a sign of a bad business, I don't know what is.

I later went to cook one of the steaks just to see for myself, trying to be open-minded. It did smell horrible. I called the company and they didn't seem too interested. My salesman did call me back the next day, but told me my meat didn't smell. I'm not quite sure how he knew that because he wasn't there when I was cooking it. He claimed it was a marinade, which he never said was on the steaks when he was selling them. I told him I can tell the difference between a marinade and bad meat. We went back and forth, but the call ended with him telling me he didn't need to listen to this, I paid for the meat and there's nothing I can do about it. He also told me he'd never had a customer complain about their meats in the 12 years he's been selling them. I find that hard to believe.
