I ordered this program in February thinking it was an easy way to make extra money so I can leave my job. Boy was I wrong. I should've known something was up when I got calls from different people wanting me to "upgrade" my membership, and put all sorts of features including a shiny website.
Not knowing anything I put it all on my credit card, maxing it out. Through the next couple of months I tried everything to get people on this program but obviously nobody was interested in paying about $50 for a bottle of vitamins.
When I looked at the website that I've spent endless hours advertising (on a very limited budget by the way), lo and behold I got seven people signed up. I don't know who these people were but I wasn't able to contact them so the company must have put them in for free. I'll be making money soon, I thought but that wasn't the case.
Couple more months passed and nothing happened. I contacted the quality management to see if I could get any of my money back but instead he offered a $500 voucher for air time. I set up air time with the media department and was told to call back in a week. After about a week I call again and I was told the campaign didn't bring anybody but they put in ten more people for me anyway.
That's where I am right now. I'm broke, my credit's maxed and my friends and family don't trust me anymore. Great opportunity. What should I say to get my money back? Should I call a lawyer?
