Ken Hughes Continuous phone contact Ripoff

As I've read in multiple posts on this website, I am receiving ongoing calls from the infamous "Ken Hughes", stating that "It's important you contact Ken Hughes at 888-249-4134. This is not a solicitation or a sales call. Once again, it is very important you contact Ken Hughes at 888-249-4134. Thank you."

These calls are becoming more frequent, from various numbers:

I believe they are trying to get in touch with someone who may have had my number before I did.

I have never received written communication from Merchants.

Merchants has not pinged any of the three major reporting agencies.

I have never had a problem with my credit.

How do I get them to stop attempting to contact me? I do not want to call them, or send them a cease and desist letter using my personal information as I am afraid that would open a new avenue for them to contact me.

I did contact my local phone provider to see how I could block these calls. This will cost me an additional fee every month - which I'm beginning to think might be worth it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
