Unauthorized charges on credit card in other words STEALING! Ripoff

I am very upset with this supposed company. I never even heard of them before. I was going through my credit card statement online and I noticed that there was a charge for $9.95 on 5/30/06 for passport to fun It should be named passport to my money!

I immediately called them. They said I did authorize this charge, but, as a courtesy they would refund my money. Arguing the validity with them did not get me anywhere. Deciding not to be aggravated any further, I accepted their credit.

I started to think that perhaps they had done this before, so I started to look through prior statements. Just as I thought, there was another charge for: $9.95 - passport to fun on 5/11/06.

I called them again and spoke to Victoria and she told me because they had already refunded the last charge they could not refund any other charges. UNBVELIEVABLE! As you can imagine I was exasperated! I told her that this was bullshit and that I wanted to speak to a supervisor immediately. She had the nerve to tell that if I did conduct this conversation in a professional manner that she would end the call. I didn't have a chance to tell her anything when she hung up on me.

Well, now, obviously, I'm upset. I called again and spoke to Andrea, #19823, and told her the story all over again. Andrea said she could not do anything but would connect me to a supervisor. I was left on hold for what seemed like forever. It's almost as if they want you to get so aggravated that you give up. Finally, the supervisor, Felicia, #3906, answered. For the third time, I told her my story. She, of course, heard my frustration because she immediately refunded my money.

Now, think about this... WHAT IF I never asked to speak to a supervisor and took the word of the initial rep? WHY would I have paid twice for the same service in the first place? WHAT if I never looked at my statement charges? HOW many people do you think get charges like this every month in their statements and not notice it? They make hundreds of thousands of dollars HOPING FOR OUR IGNORANCE!

I feel that IF this was a legitimate company they would not take people's money without their permission. IF the charges were legitimate, they would not be so eager to refund your money so quickly.in which, they are lucky they did, because I'm relentless when it comes to companies who scam anyone, ESPECIALLY ME!

I told them that I was going to report them to the BBB, AND WILL. A friend told me about this site. I want to thank you for allowing me to vent and warn people about this "so called" passport to fun "company".
