Dishonest fraudulent billing, phone calls ripoff

I have been receiving phone calls from this company and just received in the mail a letter stating I owed money to a company I have never heard of before. I have just done my FREE annual credit report (YOU need to do this to) and there is nothing on it regarding this company. I have blocked each new number that this company has called me with and also sent the letter to the shredder. I have NEVER returned a call to this company nor responded if it's NOT on my credit report I'm not worried about it. I DO NOT understand why anyone else would. If you know your credit report and also the statues of limitations from your state (LOOK that up) it's ridiculous to even respond to this company or any others like it. Get with the program people.

P.S. When I looked up the company online it was an ERROR. Hopefully there has been enough complaints about them to put them out of business???
