Camblin Ranch will tell you anything you want to hear to sell you a pony. When I first bought a pony from them, they told me I could always bring her back & trade up for a bigger pony since kids grow up.

I decided to bring the pony back & trade up for another one in Sept. I talked to them on a Wed at the end of the month & drove up to their house on Friday.

We delivered Penny & looked around for another one. I wasn't happy with what we saw so Carol took us to another location. She showed us this big red horse that seemed pretty sweet. Boy were we wrong! Carol had stated that kids rode her all the time, and that she was really lazy & that's what I wanted for my daughter-something that was calm & not going to run off with her. I guess I should have known better when they didn't have even a halter for this horse.

We brought the horse home. I was told she liked water so when we got home we gave her a bath. Boy she needed one. Along with that her feet needed trimming badly. Well she didn't like the water at all, she almost broke the lead rope. Every time I tried to pet her stomach she swung her head to bite me. The horse would not even let me on her back. After this my daughter was not allowed to be around this horse.

My ferrier came out to trim her feet 4 days later. He couldn't even touch them. The horse would keep moving or try to kick. My vet came out 7 days later to tell me this horse was lame & had several physical & mental issues. And was not a kid-friendly horse.

I had kept in touch with these people at Camblin Ranch the whole time I had the horse. They kept telling me she needs to adjust and to give her some time. That was their way to not have to feed & take care of the horse.

I brought the horse back & had someone serve them with court papers. They were not happy. They kept telling us to leave, when we were just in the road and not even on their property. We had to have a Sheriff come & keep the peace.

We did go to court in Dec of where they counter-sued for horse boarding. I couldn't believe the lies they kept making up in court. I had pictures & professioal invoices from well established companies and individuals (such as the vet & ferrier) The judge came out to tell us he knew nothing about horses, and he didn't even make a judgement based on the evidence I had.

They won for 400.00 & I won for 1000.00. I have not yet received payment after multiple attempts to contact the people at Camblin Ranch. They will not sign for a certifide letter and have not returned my calls.
