Dishonest Landlord Refused to Return Security Deposit

I leased some store front space for my business from Maiorana Properties, LLC. The former landlord, Christopher P. Maiorana, refused to return my $2000 security deposit at the end of the lease, stating that he never had a deposit returned to him, so why should he return mine. He attempted to drum up every reason he could, even fabricating phoney bills for items that I all of a sudden owed him.

I was always on time with the rent payments, and left the place in better shape then it was when I got there.
This person is a criminal.By the way he is also an attorney.
