Rips off individuals with fake lease options on homes

I leased a home from San Antonio Raymond Karam through his company Artistic Remodeling. It was agreed that for $4,600, I would have the right to buy the home. The agreement stated that 100% of the money would go towards the purchase of the home. We agreed on a payment schedule for the $4,600. I gave him, through his realtor, $2,000. I began to pay out the balance. Because I intended to buy the house, I paid a guy to replace a portion of the fence for just under $1,000. During the time I was paying and after I'd put in a new fence, I discovered that the house had serious wiring problems, something that had not been disclosed to me. My son was badly shocked touching an appliance, our clocks went off regularly, our lights would burn out in days. I asked him, through his realtor to fix the problem. They sent over a guy who told me nothing was wrong and that I should buy the house. He changed out a wall socket. The problem continued and when I reached $3,000, I stopped paying on the option and said I would not resume until the problem was fixed. During this time, I also became ill and missed some work. When my lease payment became due, I paid the normal lease payment except $150 with a promise to pay the balance. He responded by filing a FALSE civil suit against me, through his realtor, saying I owed him $2,200. He asked the judge to evict me over the fake amount. Of course I could not settle for a false amount so we went before the judge. The judge awarded the $150 that I had already promised to pay but found that I did not owe anything more. The realtor said that they wanted the house back so that they would put another lease option out. She also said I could stay but it would mean an increase of 69%. I decided to move out but demanded that he return the $3,000 plus the cost of the new fence. He has refused and said he doesn't owe me "one damn dime". I've decided to file a claim against him, in Texas his scam is illegal. But I believe he banks on his victims not doing anything. If you find a house in San Antonio that belongs to Artistic Remodeling, stay away.
