Dead beat dad could care less how daughter is being fed and clothed

Jesse Jacar Griffin age 25 owes almost $12,000 in back child support and medical bills and premiums. Jesse and I gave birth to our daughter on June 30,1999. Jesse was employed at Voicestream wireless and was making around $32,000/year. He had medical benefits and we moved in together when I was eight months pregnant. Three months into our new life with our daughter he told me I had to go back to work. The first week I went back to work he quit his job and hasn't held down a job since. That was three years ago when our daughter was three months old. She will be 3 years old in June.

Jesse's family has never offered help in financially supporting our daughter and doesn't like me because I try to make him responsible. My daughter and I have been called white trash by his black family. Jesse has had at least 25 jobs lasting no longer than one month in the last three years. I opened a case with the Office of Recovery in Utah and they told me if I can't make him work, how could they get him to work. It takes the state 45 days to track down where he is working and get all the paperwork done to garnish his wages.By the time they figure out where he is working he either quits or gets fired.

Jesse has no stable family life or residence moving from place to place mooching off friends and women who are stupid enough to like a man who doesn't support his child or childs mother.

By law Jesse is allowed to see our daughter every other weekend even if he is not supporting her financially. He exercised that right every weekend until 2 1/2 months ago. He stated our daughter basically "cramps his style" and no longer takes her. My daughter won't have anything to do with him when his name is brought up in my house. She could care less about him and she is only three... How sad is that. November Jesse never returns her from her visit and the Sherriff is called. Jesse is arrested on non related charges and has a sack of marijuana in his pocket in front of my child and has had her at a party. I know he smoked that crap in front of her. The police have been called three times on him for not returning her from her visits. I have no money to hire a private attorney and feel I get little to no help from the state.

I don't expect to ever get money or responsibilty out of this boy (not man). My daughter and I have struggled for three years to get by. With the love of my family we are doing great. We don't need his money and my daughter doesn't need his love. But I wonder how different my daughter and I would be if we had extra money to do fun things and I could buy her whatever she wanted. Eventually I will meet somebody who will provide for myself and my daughter and Jesse will be non-exsistant.

Beware women who are attracted to him now... He is a cheater, liar, not responsible and abusive... Mentally, physically and verbally but that is a different story entirely.
