Walter Bolton. Mike Warrington layoff three weeks after hiring and lecturing me about loyalty ripoff

I should have known better to even answer the newspaper ad; this company runs them all the time, because people come to work for them and soon quit.

In my case, I was hired as a civil engineering designer, then let go three weeks later, just as Hurricane Katrina was approaching the area. When I was hired, Bolton, the owner and smartest person in the world (just ask him) warned me not try and use him as a stepping stone, and to be loyal to the company.

After I started, I begged for assignments, and completed them correctly and on time. I never received a good reason for being let go, and Bolton himself was too much of a wimp to even meet with me. He gave the task of sacking me and two others to his so-called general manager, a stuttering civil engineer who is too stupid to pass the FE exam after five tries.

Just as well. I hated the time I was there, everyone I met seemed to be intent on stabbing others in the back and covering their own rear-ends. What a group of morons! But I now make twice what Bolton was paying, but I still will get a good laugh when this idiot is run out of business.
