LeanLifePM
Ripoff, deceptive, fake customer service phone, fraudulent

Miscellaneous

I got caught up in one of those stupid links, going after a free coupon and ended up having to request a free sample of something to get the other freebie. I got into the LeanlifePM free sample scam.

I went in and signed up for the free sample. There was no mention of terms and conditions clearly printed BEFORE the order button appeared, so I ordered the free sample. It was repeated that this was a free sample.

As I went back in to read more about the product, I came upon a scam site and read about the autoship policy they sneak in. I immediatly wrote them to not charge my account or send the product. They then charged my account 99.90 and sent the product.

I returned the product, unopened, return to sender, I did not oreder this! Then it appeared on my credit card statement. I emailed them repeatedly and called thier customer service number, without ever getting anyone on the phone.

Everytime I called, I was caller number 15 I called three times) I waited for my turn and when I got to #2, a second later the call was ended, they hung up! 30 to 45 minutes of waiting. I kept trying and got the same thing. They never answered my emails except to send a cancellation of the future autoships.

I contacted my credit card company, and they said that the fine print below the buy button explained that there was no refund on the first autoship and you were automatically enrolled when you get your "free" sample. They would not help me with my problem. They actually suggested I contact this site! They could not help but you could, crazy.

Anyway, I guess I don't have the product, will pay the 99.90 and chalk it up to stupidity on my past. WARNING - Never sign up for a free sample or give your cc # to get one on line unless you search every cranny of the site to find the catch. I am furious with this company and with my credit card company, but also with myself for getting scammed like this. Thier practices are very deceptive and they are a scam company. Watch out!!!
