Mountain Dew Farms
Ripoff selling sick poor lame horse

Miscellaneous

Searching the internet my wife came across mountain dew farms where they had a 5 year old saddle horse named happy gilmore. This horse was to be a christmas present for our kids it was the color and size they wanted. On the net they showed a young boy riding it bare back so we assumed that this was a kid safe horse like they claimed. My wife trusting all this to be true sent a check by mail and bought the horse for 800.00 dollars. On arrival the horse was bad underweight and had a cold i felt sorry for this horse and the conditions of which it was living. Mr moody assured me that it was just a cold we stopped at the co-op in oneida and bought worming med and penicillin and gave him a shot on the lot. We feed and doctered this horse then when we got adequete weight on him he could not be ridden because of lameness in his legs i did not contact mr. Moody because i thought he was just still weak from malnutrition.

Four months has passed and he can not be rode and is still lame in his back legs. My kids were very disheartened because we have kids who still believe in santa clause and they wonder why he brought them a horse they could not ride. I should have rode him when i bought him when we bought him but he was to weak to ride mr, moody assured me that he had no health issues or bad vices just a cold and i took him at his word because i trusted him i have five kids who are affected because of his deceit. I wish he could see the looks on my kids faces now. I guess my kids will learn early of the ways that people can cheat them with no remorse. All i want is my 800.00 dollars back and he can have his horse back i will not even charge him for my gas or time or inconvience. For now i have to find another horse for my kids.
