Phone booth charge ripoff Internet

I needed to make a phone call at a phone booth to a business about 5 blocks away. Not having 50 cents, I used my debit card.

When I later looked at my bank account I was charged $18.80. I was completely shocked. I called the company and they were absolutely mystified why I was upset about a 3 minute phone call charging that much.

They would not do anything to make me feel better about it. The customer is definantly not right in this company!

I've never heard of this company, I didn't call long distance and if they are going to charge that much money for connection and other charges they should let you know before it goes through.
