WalMart discrimination on college student employees

Walmart 2580 in Clinton, North Carolina has cut the hours of all the employees that do not have an open availablity. They have given those of that attend college inorder to better ourselves a choice of quitting school or not have anymore than 8 to 16 hours to work per week.in the past we were able to work full-time hours like everyone else and still attend school. They are always saying that WalMart promotes higher education and will work around our school schedule.

NOT now if we want to work for this horrible place in which we are already treated like slaves and told to shut the hell up all the time we have to give up an education. The work standards are so hazardous that the acidents of emplyees out number those of anything else. OSHA needs to make a visit without notice (I'm sure they would love to see just how MEGA MART operates on a daily basis.) If the STORE MANAGER were random drug tested they would understand what we work for.

It is the worst place anyone could ever work in the world. Mark Williams (store manager) and his Assistants need to be secretly evaluated. The managers even treat the customers like crap, telling them they don't want to hear their shit. What kind of managment is this. SCHOOL comes before WALMART education is something you don't just throw away like they are telling us to do. And as for the managers that are telling us that if we do not chage our availibility they are taking it as a two notice of quitting that is not fair labor practices, they should be in our positions and not make but $6.00 a hour and be scheduled to work only 8 hours for one work week like they have done to us. But managment can treat us that way because they already have their education on hand. They say it is Arkansas Home Office that is doing this to us. Someone needs to get a grip, just because you are the second largest retailer in the U.S. This lets us know how they obtained their fortune (pissing on the little employee)

To all the managers that you for telling us how family oriented Walmart is!!! What a Great place to work. The only reason people shop here is MEGA Mart has run all of the other businesses out of town. How can a company ask for more they pay we get, we have to spend it right back to them buy things.
