The tragedy happened on me. I was shocked that the company has cheated so many innocent people. We have to do something to stop them.

A few weeks ago, I got a call telling me our Citibank credit card application was approved and then he asked for my account number. At that time, I was waiting for a Citi Credit card I applied two weeks ago, so I easily believed what he said, and offered all personal information he asked for. After that, I was asked to listen to a recorded tape which spoke very very quickly. I had no idea what's going on (English is not native language, and I came to this country one and a half years ago). But I clearly remembered he said it's free for one month trial and we'd receive a detail package in 10 days. I thought I could cancel it after reading the terms and conditions or after one month. Shortly on Jan 23 I found the company withdrew $129.95 from my account. I received a membership card later. I realized I was ripped off. So I tried to call the company to cancel the membership and got the refund. But nobody answered the phone, so I sent an email to customer service official who later told me to call another phone number. I called in the following work day, after twenty minutes wait, a lady answered the call and told me $129.95 is non refundable. What a terrible experience. I got a lesson: never provide important ID information through an incoming phone call.

I was scared after knowing so many people have been ripped off. I'm going to close my account. I should say: Platinum Benefit Group is totally a company we can't trust.
