Ripoff, suspicious, red paint

Sure enough, I fell victim to the red-peel off ceramic flat iron from Advanced Beauty Solutions. What's worse is that the initial number that was on my shipping label was disconnected when I tried to contact them. I went for months trying to get a good number to call and return the defective merchandise — and they began charging my credit card.

After I initiated a credit card dispute, my bank finally found an address to return the merchandise. The bank also had much difficulty reaching someone. I returned the merchandise to the company and am now getting threatening letters to pay for a piece of crap that has been returned and accepted by the returns department.

It gets better; when I call the number on the letter to speak to the person that signed it, the agents tell me that there is no one in the company by that name. When I asked what can be done to protect my credit, the agent stated that he would put a message in to have someone send me a correspondence via mail because he didn't have a contact number either.

Ugh! What am I supposed to do??
