Well... I was also scammed by Golden One Benefits, quite a while ago... Like eight months ago or something...
They basically did the same thing to me as everyone else on here, took out $229.99... I knew I had been scammed right away because I called them back a few times to ask a few questions... There was ALWAYS a big run around, call back later, Frank Hunger isn't here today... Don't worry we will refund your money... Call back on Monday... Please hold... Um yes, uh huh... Um please hold... Bla Bla Bla ad nausium... I tried to block the payment from going through my bank account... Unfortunately my bank makes it so the block won't work for 3 business days... Too late.
I explained and explained that they needed to block this payment from going through... I was being scammed, but no... It didnt work...
It was a real bummer because I didn't have enough in my account at this point and I overdrafted my account a few times which resulted in me owing my bank then $30.00 extra bucks each time. Which eventually resulted in my account going into the negative to the tune of about $400.00... I was really REALLY angry at the time...
Forget about trying to get your money back from your bank... I tried and tried... I even brought copies of reports from this web site to the bank manager... But to no avail. Eventually I gave up. It was a joke how my bank did absolutely nothing! I was so angry! You have no idea!
The only thing that I think is funny about all of this this is the fact that the duchebag goes by the alias Mr. Hunger... Because he certainly will be enjoying lots of man chowder when he is in prison for the crimes he is committing.
I dont mean to offend anyone by my coments... But really... I mean come on... How these guys can be getting away with this $@#* is really beyond me... And the fact that my bank does not do a d*n thing to help me either. What a joke. Anyway... I'm pretty much over it now... If I would have posted here just after this happened... It would be ugly.
