Austin Takes Ex-Employees For All They Can ripoff

I have a MAJOR complaint against Time Warner Austin. I am an ex employee. As an employee I will admit there are some great perks including the tv, internet, phone, 1 dvr and every channel offered even the pay channels all the movie channels everything for free. But here is where it gets you.

When I left there on October 5th, I signed a piece of paper with them stating that I would only like to continue the Road Runner internet service and nothing more considering I would have to start paying as a normal customer again. That is the same service I had for 2 years prior to being employed there.

December 23rd I received a bill for $1,550.00. Very confused, I called customer service. The first woman was very rude and proceeded to tell me that because the services were disconnected they could not help me and that I needed to pay that amount.

After her arguing with me I hung up and called in a second time, this customer service rep proceeded to put me on hold for almost 30 minutes, being on a break at work, I had to disconnect. The third time I called in this customer service rep was nice enough to tell me that I needed to contact HR. So I left several messages and have heard nothing. She also told me that yes after I left on October 5th they simply turned my employee account into a regular pay account with every channel offered. Totaling a monthly charge of each month at $367.00.

No one will contact me reguarding issue. How can that company charge me for all those services when I have a signed document stating I only wanted the $34.95 a month high speed internet continued after my employment ended. When I worked there, they didn't want to work with there customers, and now as an ex employee who helped make them money (I was a sales rep so you can imagine I made them some cash) they refuse to help as well. They monopolized my area and I am not offered any other option that satellite.

It is a shame that Time Warner feels that they are so in need of money that they have to screw previous employees for everything that they can get.
