Scam, Ripoff for those trying to help college students

Bought a subscription from one of these door to door "college" students earning points for cash prizes. A van load of them were working our neighborhood in Virginia. The license plates were Pennsylvania and I should have been tipped off by that. I purchased the subscription in August and have not received a single issue of the magazine.

The company has yet to return a single phone message and their website is useless. I have a receipt with the company's information and the name of the young man that sold it, but that could be as fictitious as the front company. Will continue to attempt to contact the company and if they can't deliver I am looking to get my money back. Shouldn't be that hard should it?
