Scam, Ripoff, Fraud, Pay for magazine renewals or orders to help solicitor earn points

On May 11 a cute girl and a young male sidekick pratically let themselves in to our humble apartment talking a mile a minute about how they are in the middle of a one day competition with other people to earn points to get to Cancun. They already had all but one order to reach their goal. All we had to do was order from their selection of magazines or renew one we already had.

We couldn't really afford to do either but we decided to help them out thinking we were their golden ticket! We renewed our Parents for two years spending $45.
It is now 11/9 and Parents magazine has record of our subscription ending in Feb. 2006.

Humm... As I look at my receipt no number, just a PO BOX in Aubrey (bumville) Texas!?! I am so upset about this. Please post your story and let's continue to blow the whistle on this scam nationwide! I too, will be filing a report with the BBB!
