Ripoff

My name is Maxie Bryant, a year ago I moved out of a bad neighborhood into a very nice area where I now reside.

My mother and father also lives in this bad neighborhood where I once reside. Distrub where my parents were living, I decided to look for them a better place to live.

The homes I find and the ones my parents liked were the very ones that were already on contract or purchas. Age was also a factor because they both are in their 70s and they felt as though at their age a house note was not a good idea.

In the meantime the Lord vex my heart and spoke to me to add more rooms to my house for my father and mother. My mother and father sold their home to my uncle as a possible investment the neighborhood was not attracting any buyer due to bad surroundings.

Their home was purchase for 41,000.00, this money was use to build the added rooms for my mother and father. The 3R company was hired as the contractor to build the additional rooms. The 3R company consist of two men and may I add friends of my father.

They began building Dec 04 and by July 05 the building was yet not close in. I began to detect something was wrong. I consulted a friend who was in the building business, who can out to inspect the building and find numerous defects with the structure.

He suggest I call the inspectors because he suspected no inspector had been involved. I contacted the city building inspector and to my surprise the inpectors had not been notified for phase inspection. The inspector was stunned by all the defects within the structure of the building.

The inspector return the next day along with his supervisor and told me he wanted to condemned the building. He stated these were inexperience builder. According to the inspector; the foundation, wiring, plumbing, roofing the entire structure was a mess he said.

Now my mother and father have lost 34,000.00 with no where to live. I have tried to finance in oder to add the additional rooms but financing is a problem because the addition will overprice my home over the other home in my neighborhood and mortgage companies are afraid to touch this type situation.

I terminated the 3R construction company and hired a new contractor but had to put stoppage on the work due to funding. I consulted a lawyer, only for him to tell me, I had to spend more money and I would win the case but only get judgement.

These men (3R construction Company) have administer a life time of damage to my entire family becuase we see our mother and father suffer everyday. My Mother and father are the parents of nine children, my father worked 3 sometime 4 jobs to provide for his family. He should not have to go through this.
