Ripoff, scam, no magazines received, fraud

I, too, was visited on March 15 by someone calling themselves Rustin Gates selling magazines for a trip to Cancun. He was very talkative, flattering and like a dope, I fell for it. I dropped $212 on 4 magazines and to date have not received anything (6 months later).

I attempted to call them through the number on their web site (now mysteriously under construction), but no one ever answers the phone. I will attempt to fax and send them a letter as well, but I am also persuing this with my credit card company as a fraud case.

I had all but forgotten this transaction until a girl came to my door today claiming to be "from the neighborhood" and wanting me to buy magazines for a similar program. Needless to say, I shooed her away.

Beware of anyone selling door-to-door.
