Ripoff sends sick animals

We purchased two pomeranian puppies from cheryl boettger, cb kennels in N Platte NE through the puppyfind website the end of aug. This year. (That was our first mistake) The puppies had to be rushed to the vet within 12 hours of their arrival. We have had to spend $2000 on vet bills since to keep them alive. One of the pups was so sick. We thought she was going to die the third day she was here. Plus they both have level 3 patella defects. The puppyface I fell in love with which the buy was based on... Is not even the same puppy as pictured. They sent a different dog.

The seller, is not a breeder as we were led to believe, but a "dealer") I tried to put a seller review on the puppyfind website. To warn others. It was on long enough for me to print it out. Then it was taken off. It took the seller's rating from the highest 5, to a 3. The website will not answer my emails. This seller has still, a 5 star rating on their site.

This situation has been very expensive financially and emotionally. (We had just had to euthanize our beloved Pom of 15yrs in May) That is why we were looking at Poms. Thought it would ease the grief of our loss. So now we have been dealing with two sick puppies under two lbs each. With seemingly no recourse to deal with these people who sold them to us.

I have found at least two other people who purchased sick animals from them, or were sent the "wrong puppy".

I am sure there must be more people who have had problems with this seller.

I would like to have communication with them.

I am still gathering information and contacting agencies. I have sadly concluded, I am dealing with puppymill puppies.

The more I learn about this seller, puppyfind, and the puppymill industry. The more determined I am to stop sellers like this from sending out defective, sick puppies who weigh less than two pounds along with a paper saying what seller is not responsible for; a generic set of shot records with no labels affixed and no special care instructions for these tiny, fragile creatures.
