Avoided the Ripoff from Advantage America Florida

I Received a phone call at 11am 9-14 from someone named April. I listened to what she had to say. She told me that I was approved for a $1200 Federal Grant and all I needed to do was give her my bank information and $49.95 so she could send me some paperwork to fill out. I told April that I had a client and had to run, and asked her what company this was with. She said Advantage America. Immediatly after I hung up, I looked up Advantage America and I came up with this site. 15 times I read the same nonsense that I had just heard over the phone. The fact that this scam company has been reported here over 15 times in the past ten days tells me something.

I just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to report this. It helped me avoid being taken for a ride.
