Ripoff! They protect members. They DON'T read evidence or consider expert testimony, FLORIDA

Filed a complaint against local roofing company. Roof failed 1st inspection. Passed 2nd inspection of all VISIBLE areas. Three days later observed in attic that roofing company used NON-GALVANIZED NAILS in portions of roof. City said could not pull "pass" from inspection and I had to deal with formal complaint to state for resolve.

FILED COMPLAINT WITH BBB of CENTRAL FLORIDA and furnished them with EXPERT TESTIMONY in form of e-mail from CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR of city whom indicated that the roof was NOT to code and that roofer had LEGAL obligation to fix. BBB OF CENTRAL FLORIDA DISREGARDED that EXPERT and CHIEF INSPECTOR and stated to me that the complaint was "presumed resolved".

Roofing company responded that the roof passed inspection and refused to correct code violations (nails and nailing). BBB of CENTRAL FLORIDA said that their response was sufficient and closed case without even listing that a complaint was turned in against roofing company which now gives them free reign to rip off others and senior citizens.

Seeing a PAST COMPLAINT against the BBB OF CENTRAL FLORIDA, i would agree with that writer as to disregard all support and do not join the BBB as they are quick to close out complicated cases leaving the consumer as prey!
