Ripoff Advertises Authentic Swiss Movement but Sends. 50 Chinese-made Movement

Miscellaneous

I ordered a watch from www.BLUEFAKES.com, it took over a week before they contacted me regarding my order.in the meantime, I never knew if they had received it or whether the watch was on its way, etc.

Finally a rep named Scott, called me and apologized for the delay and offered to take a $100 of the price. I accepted and they watch was supposed to have been received in 2 days. After taking off work to ensure that the watch could be received from FedEx, it never came. Numerous phone calls and emails went unanswered. The watch showed up a couple of days later.

I paid for the package via bank issued money order, and took the package inside my home. I was attempting to set the time and the crown fell off. I had the watch for no more than 30 seconds out of the box. The website advertised 'authebtic swiss movement'. I took the watch to a local jeweler and had the watch opened. He informed me that the movement was a cheap Chinese movement that was probably worth less than $1. Needless to say, I attempted to contact Blue Fakes again through numerous emails and phone calls. Scott made the mistake of calling me from I believe his home and therefore his number came up on my cell phone. Days later I finally caught up with Scott and he said another one was on already on its way and he gave me a tracking number. The tracking number was for another package going somewhere else. He just gave the number to satisfy me.

Fortunately for me, I was able to stop payment on the money order through my bank. It costs me $7 to buy the money order and $25 to put a stop payment on it. I could not imagine the frustration if I had not been able to recover my money. Their website claims promises everything, unparalleled customer service, honesty, etc.in fact, every phone number provided is a cell phone. No one ever answers or returns calls. The emails are never returned either. Please please do everything you can to shut these thieves down.

Here are the phone numbers that I have been given.
