This man can not be worked with when it comes to his reasponsability

This man fathered my son almost 4 years ago. He wanted a paternity test, so we got it. He is all about telling you what you want to hear. He told me he would take care of this child even if he wasn't his. I had no doubt in my mind he was the father. The only reason he had doubts was because he believed rumors.

Child Support Recovery Unit has been trying to work with him since the court order was put through in Oct. 2002 which was 14 months after my son was born. Travis has been getting garnished from several different jobs over the past 3 years. Keeping in miond he didn't pay a cent in the first 14 months. He seems to refuse to keep CSRU updated on his information.

Now I am being told by CSRU that he is on some medical leave but refuses to get them the doctors note. I do believe he is working under the table. He just got married and he is not the type that would let his wife take up all the financial duties.

He is not a bad guy, really. He just runs away from everything he encounters as a problem. He told me when we had the paternity test taken that if he had to pay child support, he would fight for custody. At least if he would fight my son may actually get to meet his father because that has never happened. Travis refuses to get ahold of me to set something up. He knows how to reach me. I have no problem finding him, but I refuse to try to keep getting him to have anything to do with his son. THat's ok, though. THat just means my boyfriend can take his place and be a much better father than that sperm donor could ever be.
