I was checking my bank account as usual. And then I saw a difference of $99.99 between available and ledger balances. I was reminding myself when and what I have used my check card and as soon as I know I have been using only cash for past week, I called the bank (Washington Mutual) to check what kind of transaction or transactions were made of $99.99.
They said a company called Auto Advantage has requested for that money. I have never heard of that company in my life. So I called Auto Advantage to ask why I am being charged. Their response was that an endorsement check ($2.50) from Budgets that I got for being good customer for past few months has some kind of automated sign up for Auto Advantage. Think commonsense! How would you relate a rental car company with some crab roadside assistant company? (btw, I DON'T EVEN OWN A CAR!)
So I asked them to cancel my 'what so called' membership and give my credit or money back. They have said to wait 10~20days or wait for 2 billing cycles. But imagine if you are getting $100 from quite a large group of people how much would they get from the interests! I have gone through the rip-off website and saw some other victims as I who had same problems. Did anyone sent in a complaint for this crab company and other companies whose are in part of this?
