Ripoff Attempted money order cashiers check scam to pay for online goods advertised in classifieds Ripoff

I advertised a ring for sale on Yahoo classifieds & rec'd this obviously bogus scam email in response:

Thanks for the response and am very greatful for the
email, i will purchase the (Men's Ring) and am okay
with the price i really like the (Men's Ring) and am
having a shipping company that will take care of
pickup from your place, i want to let you know am
having a client in the state that is owning me a sum
of ($5,000), i will instruct him to issue you a money
order on my behalf and as soon as cheque arrives, take
it to any cashing point in your area once it cash the
excess amount on the cheque is for pickup of the
(Men's Ring), you will deduct your amount and send the
balance to the shipper for the pick up in your
place, am trusting in you for that it will be done and
also you will be contacting my shipper with all
neccesary information needed for pick up in your
location, do get back to me with the following details
for the cheque to be issue out to you in this
manner...

Zipcode...
Country...
Mobile Number...
Land number...
Work Number...

Do get back to me asap with this details for payment
to be made out to you immediately and when the cheque
arrives do notify me to know so i can arrange how you
will contact the shipper for the pick-up and i will be

Unfortunately, I don't have any other info available at this time, but when/if I get more, I will post it here to keep everyone informed. Would hate to see anyone fall for this & get charged with a felony themselves! (Their email has been forwarded to Interpol & FBI.)
