Miscellaneous

I feel like a fool! On June 24, I received a call from a woman with an accent named Sharon Joesph. She claimed I was to receive $12,500 in government grant money. I was more than reluctant. I explained to her that I was a single, struggling mother of five, and if this was a hoax... It wasn't funny. She assured me that it was no hoax.

All they needed from me was a fee of $29.95. I was then to receive a packet in the mail which would include a check for $100.00, forms to fill out for the grant money, and optional health coverage, long distance service options that I was under no obligation to purchase. I was so reluctant, but for the sake of nothing other than hope and faith... I gave them my bank info. All I kept thinking of was what I could do with that kind of money right now. I plan on going back to college in fall and desperately need transportation.

Sharon told me I could use the money for a new car. The following day I decided I should check out the company online. I found your website with a letter from Hero in Mobile, Alabama that almost matched my story identically. First thing Monday morning I will be at my bank to stop payment on the transaction they plan on attempting to clear. Wish me luck!!!
