A friend of mine lives at this complex been there for 5 years each year a letter is sent informing lease is up with increase of $50 dollars, now the latest is, my question and if this is legal the following letter: you may renew your lease for one year at a monthly rental rate of $820.00 up from $770.00. Renew for[6] mounths at $870. Or month to month at $820.00 plus a $100.00 month to month charge. My question is, IS THIS A RIP-OFF or not. I can fax his letter he recieved.
Rip-off rip-off rip-off sounds to me and other peaple i've talked to i also used to live there...
