A man in a car, dressed in a suit, asked for directions to the airport (Gardermoen). He then told me he was a salesman, and had been at a fashion show, where he showed these jackets (branded R.G. A Reportage).
He then, surprisingly enough tried to sell me three jackets. He told me how much their retail prize was (which was a lot, but not completely unreasonable if it really was the latest model of some well-known brand (what do I know...).
He then offered to sell all of them to me for NKR 4000 (USD 615). He "proved" that they were leather, by using a lighter, and showed me his passport and plane ticket, and repeatedly asked for how long it would take to drive to the airport.
I told him the offer wasn't bad, but I had no use for three jackets. He then proceeded to lower the price to NKR 2000. At this point the deal seemed really attractive, but I still didn't need 3 jackets. I offered 800 for one jacket, and after some more haggling, he agreed (For some reason he absolutely insisted that he wanted to sell 3 jackets, even though my offer was better...)
The jacket seems fine, as is the price. Only thing I don't like is that this site was the first hit on google, when I tried to find out what kind of company R.G. A is, or if anyone else have heard about their "Reportage" line of jackets.
