Bad ethics they break rules at colleges all over the country

I've never worked at Vector, but I know a few students at the college I attend who have. Not a single one had a good experience. It seems that is the case most of the time. My purpose in writing this is to shed some light on some of the practices of this company. One of their managers was caught several times sign-spamming our campus with their flyers. Each time she was escorted off of the premesis by security. Now she is trying to use her reps to do her spamming (we caught one of them red-handed and he told us that she is asking them to put up flyers). The rule on campus is that any advertisement or job offering has to be approved by campus administration. NO EXCEPTIONS.

However, this gal doesn't seem to comprehend that. I still see their flyers posted in bathrooms and on phone booths, as well as scrawled on blackboards. We tear them down or erase them immediately. Vector has also admitted fraud in several legal cases (twice in the U.S. And once in Australia) and was ordered to cease deceptive recruiting tactics in hiring reps. I know of some newspapers that have even stopped running Vector ads. There is also a former vector division manager who is trying to involve other district and division managers in a class action lawsuit. I also know of a few former employees who challenged their "independent contractor" status through the Dept. Of Labor. According to their guidelines, some of Vector's practices, such as requiring further training after being hired and forcing reps. To constantly call in to the office, are more like employee regulations.

I'm hardly saying that everyone who works for Vector makes no money or is scammed, but I would never work for a company with business pratices such as theirs.
