Ripoff prey on human weakness I felt violated beware their fraud

It all happened within a span of two months. One day I receive this call out of nowhere around the end of March. His name was Devon and he was pitching me a credit card offer. I must admit he made a good sell promising me a visa card with a low interest rate no fees and zero interest payments for two years.

All that was required was a one time fee payment of 249.00. I tried to shake him since I was busy at the moment he called but he was persistent. The offer was getting tempting since the credit promised was a limit of 2,000 dollars lately money problems had been building up and the promise of some relief unfortuanetly lured me in. For some reason though he wanted a voice authorization this is when my red flags started going off. I was then promised that no money would be withdrawn from my checking account until April the 15th. Which is when I told him there would be money in my account.

After hanging up I started having some regrets so the next day I called the number he gave me if I wanted to cancel the withdrawal. I spoke to a women who assured me the transaction would be canceled and to put a stop payment through my bank just to make sure. April 15th went by and no transaction I just assumed after that they were a legit company. So I just moved on after that but lo and behold last week on 5/25/05 when I was on a business trip.

There was UNAUTHORIZED transaction for 249.00 I was practically in a cold sweat since now my account was overdrawn and my food and gas money GONE! Ever since then I have still been disputing the charges with HAPO community credit union. They refuse to acknowledge that it was clearly fraud citing my taped personal info. I feel like even more of my faith in peoples good nature has been shattered.

I wish I had not been so stupid. Hopefully I will get my revenge soon. This has really ruined my month. Please beware and get them back if it has happened to you.
