Giving false information about goverment grants that I will receive ripoff

This company is a rip off and I fell for it the first time they called. I think we are in desperate times and they know it so they offer something that sounds to good to be true but manages to convince me to do it. I gave all my information and the foreign man assured me I would have $8000 in my bank account in two days.

When that did not happen I closed my bank account, they tried to debit $249.00 from my account a week later than they were supposed to. I had a funny feeling about this company so I decided they were not going to get anyting from me.

I spoke with a woman at an 800 # that actually worked and she had been told about this from another customer. She said that her company was not offering any grants at all, they were the people who when I verified everything would send me free 10 trail offers for vacations, etc. This company has my old bank information and my current address.

I received a last night at 10 pm and another call today from First National Gov't Grants and of course they have my banking information even though I have never talked to them before. Luckily the account is closed so they cannot debit from it. I told my bank about the situation and they suggested I close the account to avoid further stress.

This company is involved with many many other fake companies who are out to rip off the consumer.
