Ripoff

Since I have lived here at Farmbrook Manor, I have seen about four different people in charge of the rental office. The person who runs it now is named Angela Ledford, and I have never seen such a surly person. She doesn't keep track of when you pay the rent and keeps putting you in to go to court if you are a few days behind paying the rent.

The lawyers depend on her to tell them about the tenants here, so she gets to call the shots, whether or not she is telling the truth is another thing altogether. If she doesn't like you, she will do everything in her power to get you evicted.

Last month, she sent me a summons for me to go to court because my rent was supposedly late, but I had paid her and made her sign the money orders. I do this because no matter how you pay her, she seems to get convenient amnesia when it's time to go to court. I think she is keeping all of the money we have to pay in legal fees or something. It's almost like she is looking for people to 'set up' to go to court so we get shafted paying legal fees.

I used to put my payments in the drop box, but she will post your rent late and insist that it was you. I showed her the date I bought the money order for my rent which was before the closing date and she still sent me a quit notice.

I have been trying to get a telephone number for the people over her to no avail. There are no published numbers for Brookline Management, so these people they put in charge of their properties get to work willy nilly because there is not way to call their bosses and hold them responsible for their surly service.

I would appreciate any information about Brookline Management, I'm moving into my new home soon, but I will still pursue these crooks until I talk to someone from their company.
