Ripoff, lied, cheat, horrible maintenance, maintenance issues, assholes

From the beginning Oxford Oaks (a 20 or 30 year old apartment complex) has been horrible to me. When i first signed my lease they gave me no copy of it. They didnt give me a checklist to go through my apartment with, the carpet was filthy, the doors had marks all over them.

The tile was in horrible horrible shape. I was still able to get a checklist and a copy of my lease after i badgered them enough. Oxford oaks, has an incredibly ignorant staff, that cares nothing about you (the f*ing customer!!!). I have talked to many people about Oxford Oaks, and they all complain about the horrible maintenance issues. I know many people that live in Oxford Oaks that talk about these issues, and finally i myself have the misfortune of living here. Oxford Oaks is riddled with simple maintenance problems, that take weeks and weeks, possibly monthes to take care of.

When the maintenance men finally do come to fix your stuff, they do such a horrible job that it is in the same state it was in before. So far i have had to have: My toilet fixed 5 times because it was very loud and would run water at night. It is still broken. (keep in mind getting them to fix it was a several week long process each time.)

I have had to have my dryer replaced and it fell down because it was improperly installed. (4 week process to fix) Had to live with an incredibly noisy squirrel for 3 weeks now. It is hard to get to sleep. I have had to have a new hot water tank installed (2 week process)

The list goes on and on. I pay 400 dollars a month to live in an efficiancy because apartments in edmond are expensive. The least they could do is not lie to me on the phone!!! 400 dollars a month! For an efficiency! And they cant take care of simple maintenance issues!!! Oxford Oaks doesnt need to "shape up". It flat out needs to be put out of business.

Please tell everyone you know "do not go to oxford oaks" beg them not to!!! Beg them!
