P.R.C.O. Prize Report Confirmation Office
Ripoff Wants me to send them $19.99 for a prize winning of $1,9000, 000 from a sweepstakes I never entered

I received a letter via snail mail today w/a return address of MAIN P.R.C. O office. Identification Div... Files and records data. Important matters reporting. Very official looking envelope w/CONFIDENTIAL stamp. IMPORTANT! Inside the letter (in a nutshell) tells me I'm being informed that due to the recent involvement in a national presentation (never mentions who or what) has resulted in my full identification for MONIES and PRIZES. (whatever that means). Amount on record by rtize issuance report confirmation office...$1,900, 000.00 in sweepstakes money and prizes to be paid. Yada Yada Yada... Now, this letter goes on and never quite literally states I have WON and will definately be getting $1,900, 000.00. It goes all around it trying to convince me that thats what they are saying. (if you know what I mean). Just enough for me to beleive that if I send them $19.99, they will send me my winnings. And just enough to legally say that they never literally stated that they were sending me this money. Anyway, the other side goes on to describe (from what I make of it) that what I'll be really getting is a booklet containing info on sweepstakes and prizes not yet won being offered by independant sponsors (which probably totals $1,900, 000.00!) Moving On, just the asking for money and the P.O. Box # on the return envelope w/no mention of a phone #, website, etc has me convinced this is A RIP-OFF! So I've sent a large page w/large letters inside the self-addressed envelope which states: NICE TRY A*HOLE! These people got nerve, right? I can only imagine the poor elderly, etc people, down on their luck, that fall for these things and really need their hard-earned money to survive. And they think they've finally got a break and can get ahead. Only to find out they've been played and made an a* out of. It really, really gets my goat and I'd love to run into some of them in a dark alley some nite!!!
