Item never shipped despite repeated calls and promises

Mid Nov I ordered 3 items for Christmas gifts. I received one item and a postcard stating they were out of one of the other items. I placed a call to Fingerhut and was told the item would arrive on Dec 16th. No item came. I called again and was told to allow a couple more days. Nothing. I called FedEx and was told the item was never sent, only the shipping label. I called the company again. I was told they would send it out and apologized, and due to the error they would remove shipping charges and it would arrive on the 6th. Nothing yet. I called again and was told to allow more time due to road conditions. Now I am being told they will not remove the shipping, that sorry but I should not have been told that. Still no item and I pay for them not shipping it in a timely manner. After 6 calls, helloooooo.
