Smart Travel Pack Deceptive Practice

I just joined Delta's Skymiles program and was offered the Smart Travel Pack with 5 benefits. The offer was laid out to imply that the Smart Travel Pack needed to be purchased within the next 5 days. However when the confirmation came through I noted that you must purchase tickets in the next 9 days and that the fee ($199) was non-refundable. This is a pure bait and switch tactic by Delta. Unless you will be purchasing a ticket in the next 9 days (in which case you will be paying the highest fare to begin with) the product has no value. Avoid this product and other add on's the airline who pioneered charging for luggage has to offer.
