A Green Dot Card Scam

I have never had to have credit before so I have no credit score. I decided to try through the internet to see if I could get a installment loan or short term loan. On Aug. 27th I received a call from this person who told me I was approved and he needed my bank routing # and account # to put the money in my account. After I gave it to him then he said I would have to get a Green Dot Card and put $179.00 on it and give the # on the back to him and they would deposit the loan. I told him I could not do that and we hung up. Least, then 30 minutes, he calls back and tells me to put $100.00 on the card and I told him no again. He tells me to get the money from my family or friend. I told him no and we hung up. He called several times more and on Sept 3rd. His supervisor called and told me I had a choice: pay the $179.00 or pay a cancellation fee of $200.00. I told him no and he told me he had my bank information and he would debit my account within the hour if I did not pay him the $179.00. I told him he was running a scam and he got angry and hung up. He called several times after that but I let it go to voicemail. Finally, he left a message telling me he was taking actions to debit my account $200.00. I called and talked to the bank and now I have to close my account, because they are a scam and do not stop at the $200.00 but they will keep debiting, even will overdraw your account they do not care. Because I was told the story about a woman that was several thousands in debt to the bank because she did not take them seriously.
