Miscellaneous

My complaint is very similar to one that is already posted. I answered an ad for a "personal assistant" and was contacted via email by someone identifying themselves as Shela Scott with an email address of shela. Cott17@hotmail.com. The emails were in poorly written english, it appears obvious that english is not the author's primary language.
I became concerned when asked to cash a check and wire money via Western Union to China. (Abou Lucky, 13-17, Renmin South Rd., Guangzhou, China, 510130). I emailed Shela Scott to inform him/her that I did not feel comfortable doing this and no longer wished to participate, and that I would return the check when/if it arrived. This resulted in a flurry of emails, one threatening to take "a legal action." It also said, "I advice (sic) you to complete the assignment..."
The check did arrive, from John Gill, 1414 Wilton Lane, Virginia Beach, VA 23451-3746. I did not open the envelope and sent it back, but just this morning I received a text from Shela Scott stating that they are waiting for my evaluation report and reminding me that I will be rewarded according to my job.
